Map Notes,,, The Arch is located at Atl Atl Rock. There are also some great campsites here. Mouse's tank will take you to see Petroglyph's. The hike is very easy and pretty level. You will be hiking in soft sand so be sure to wear the right shoes. Most everything is an easy drive and short walks. Be sure to bring your camera and make sure your batteries are charged and for those still shooting film bring lots of rolls. When you leave the Park you can either go back out the way you came or head out the east entrance which will take you to Lake Mead. You can turn left and go to Overton to the Lost City Museum or turn right and follow the road as it takes you through some amazing geology and lake views back to Las Vegas. |
